Beacon Seed was started in 2017 by Brad Scruggs, upon seeing a need for a quality seed procurement business that is built around customer service. In 2023 Justin, Randy, and Steve Smucker partnered with Brad. Beacon Seed is located in Scio, Oregon in the heart of grass seed country in the Willamette Valley. Our goal is to be a reliable partner to grass seed growers and grass seed buyers and make the buying and selling process as easy as possible.
